Personalized
Each session is built for each unique wild woman Joelle works with. She spends time talking in the initial phone consultation. You then dive deeper through an emailed questionnaire and together you create this experience to meet you where you are. The session can be naked in nature, beautiful flow dresses or any thing in between. Show up as your truest self and embrace the experience to the fullest. If you are nervous about naked or partially naked posing that is ok! Throughout the session you can explore anything you’re comfortable with.

You can choose to do you session in Joelle’s studio in Red Deer AB, but most women come to her for the adventure self love sessions. Adventure sessions are outdoor in any location! Joelle has access to private land local to the Red Deer area, but she often travel to Nordegg or other areas for these sessions. You can see these beautiful locations in all the works she showcases.

FAQs
Do I need to have a certain body size or shape to do a session?
Absolutely not. Self love/boudoir photography is about celebrating your unique beauty, regardless of societal standards. I create an atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and confident.
What should i wear?
Wardrobe choices depend on your personal style and comfort level. My sessions are self love sessions so this means come anyway where you feel your best! Common options include ( but are not limited to) flowy dresses, robes, lingerie, elegant sleepwear, or even implied nudity. We will chat beforehand to ensure you feel confident and at ease during the session.
Will my photos stay private?
Yes! I only share photos with permission. You never have to feel pressured to allow me to share anything. This is your sacred body and experience and you get to decided what happens to the photos and who sees them.
What is a self love/rewild photoshoot?
My sessions have evolved from the traditional boudoir photoshoot. The word boudoir didn’t fully fit me. Focusing on celebrating women’s unique beauty and creating images that evoke feelings of confidence and empowerment is what I’m passionate about, but I needed to put my own twist on my work. A rewild session is about the self love and allowing ourself to return to a more natural state, our true unapologetic selves. Learning to be at peace within, live with ease and love ourselves with grace.
How long does a session last for?
My session times are broken down and vary from package to packages. If you choose to travel for a session keep in mind how far the travel distance is. For example a trip out to Nordegg will become a full day with travel.
How long does it take to get my photos?
I work at getting your digital photo gallery done with in 2-3 weeks of the session date. If an album is ordered that can vary depending on the manufacturers schedule.
